The incident began on October 7.  Gather stats through October 20:

  • Horses captured: 408, up from 285 on Day 11
  • Average daily take: 29.1

  • Deaths: 4, no change from Day 11
  • Shipped: 269, up from 214 on Day 11

No activity occurred on Day 13 due to poor road conditions.

The death rate through Day 14 is 1.0%.

Foals represented 20.8% of the horses captured.  Of the adults, 56.7% were male and 43.3% were female.

Body condition scores were not reported.

The cumulative totals at the gather page show one horse returned to the range but the daily reports do not indicate when.

The location of gather ops was not given.  Five HMAs are involved in the roundup.
