Winnemucca CAFO Approved

The Decision Record was signed on November 3, allowing the project to move forward, subject to a 30-day appeal period.

Responses to public comments were provided in Appendix D of the Final EA.

Proposals for high-density feeding operations were also sought in Idaho and Utah.

Horses removed from their home range will be shipped to the new facility while privately owned livestock graze in their stead.

The project is downstream in the wild horse management process.  It does not address the causes of the removals, so it can only prolong them.

  1. albert Einstein himself wouldn’t have been able to figure out exactly what or how DOI, BLM and all their supposed oversight committees used as math to get their magical numbers, hell any toddler could have closed to actual correct numbers than blm. Removing wild horses and burros because they have exceeded what the land can suppose is the biggest mathematical joke of the century and now their math equals 4000 horses on 100! How? It’s not a multi level facility because then the prisoners would at least have shade in the100 degree plus heat , shelter in the -10 degrees brutal winter winds and everyone knows that’s not the case. How in God’s name.. wait it’s in Satan’s name and glory that these iconic symbols of freedom esp of the west are being so neglected and criminally abused. Yep thats the answer, which each of you will have to do before God for your greed and actions. You can be assured of that
