Livestock Impede Sage-Grouse Recovery on Public Lands?

Wild horses were blamed for most of the problems in a USGS study published earlier this year, while the effects of public-lands ranching were overlooked, according to a news release by the Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility.

The announcement said the study is being used as part of the rationale for removing thousands of free-ranging horses from their habitat.
