He was blind, losing the sight in his second eye in a ‘dispute’ with another stallion.
He died peacefully in private care, according to a report posted today by The Virginian-Pilot, at a farm for aging and wayward wild horses.
Good for him. If he had been captured on western rangelands, he would have been put down on the spot.
