The event is set for July 12 – 13 in Medora, according to a story by KX News.
As of today, the Park Service is only threatening to remove the horses.
The original wild horses of TRNP, thought to be descendents of Sitting Bull’s ponies, were removed over twenty years ago.
The horses you see today are only an exhibit.
