We have decades of wildlife camera documentation that wild horses do not discourage other wildlife or livestock use of a water source. The small bands come in for a drink. The night pictures show a lot more activity of multiple species drinking together…elk deer antelope fox horses .
Agree, deer visit this location mostly at night, some horses too. Coyotes by day in the winter.
